I have been collecting antique Japanese tsuba (sword guards) since 2001, when I visited a small sword store in Kyoto. This inspired me to collect as many tsuba as I could get my hands on. After a few years, I revised my collection and started focusing on quality, rather than quantity.
Although I mainly collect tsuba, you might see other Japanese related antiques on this website, such as swords, fuchi kashira, kogai, kozuka, menuki and armour.
As a collector and student of Japanese sword guards, I believe in preserving the beauty and authenticity of antique pieces. I do everything possible to understand the traditional techniques and materials and ensure that the original integrity of the pieces are maintained.
